The youngest quarterbacks to win a Super Bowl
7. Troy Aikman, 26 years, 71 days
Aikman’s first Super Bowl with the Dallas Cowboys came during his fourth season in the league. While his disappointing rookie campaign has become a well–known tale for those around the NFL, Aikman’s second and third year wouldn’t quite lead to the level of success that Dallas would later become accustomed to. The 1992 season, however, would flip the switch for Aikman and the Cowboys, who finished the regular season with a 13-3 record. A dominant playoff run would start with wins over the Philadelphia Eagles and San Francisco 49ers, before matching up in Super Bowl XXVII with the Buffalo Bills. Aikman and the Cowboys would put up a whopping 52 points in the matchup as the Dallas quarterback finished with 273 passing yards and four touchdowns in his path to Super Bowl MVP honors.
