Ranking UConn women’s basketball’s top 10 players of all time

4. Tina Charles (2006-2010)

Charles is the most dominant rebounder in UConn women’s basketball history as her 1,367 career boards still top the program’s all-time list. The 6-foot-5 center largely lived in the shadows of her All-American teammates during her first three seasons in Storrs, but the breakout was on late in her junior campaign. Charles helped lead UConn to a national title as a junior by being named MOP of the Final Four before sweeping national Player of the Year honors during another undefeated championship season (the first back-to-back perfect national championship seasons) as a senior. Her 2,346 career points rank fourth in program history.
