Stingley Jr. became a standout defensive player and received a rating of 0.9980 for his play at Dunham High School.

Stingley Jr. had four interceptions during his senior year. He intercepted 14 passes over the final 20 games of his prep career. He also specialized as a wide receiver and caught 24 passes for 678 yards. He went on to play for the LSU Tigers and helped the program capture the national title in 2019. He plays for the Houston Texans after being drafted with the No. 3 overall pick in the 2022 NFL Draft.
