Vázquez Receives OVC Indoor Track and Field Freshman of the Week

The OVC announced their Indoor Track and Field athletes of the week. Lindenwood’s very own Hugo Vázquez, won OVC Male Freshman of the Week after his stellar performance at the Blue-White Classic hosted at Indiana State University, in Terre Haute, Ind. Vázquez a native of Spain ran in the 60-meter hurdles at the meet, placing first in both the preliminaries and the finals. Vázquez in the finals ran an 8.17 breaking his personal record and beating second place finisher Ndubisi Eze from University of Indianapolis by two-tenths of a second.
