8. Cal Randall, RHP, De La Salle
The Spartans – who begin the season ranked No. 22 in the country – have won five consecutive CIF North Coast Section Division I titles and Randall is a big reason why. The three-year starter went 5-0 with a 1.67 ERA as a sophomore before picking up a team-high 61 strikeouts across 45.2 innings pitched last season. Randall and his 6-foot-3 frame help make up the UCLA Bruins’ No. 3-ranked 2023 recruiting class. UCLA head coach John Savage believes Randall “has a chance to make an immediate impact on our pitching staff.”
