The most used number in the 30s, the No. 31 has been in the Cup Series for over 70 years and is still driving to this day with Justin Haley currently behind the wheel of the Kaulig Racing Chevy. No. 31 has had its fair share of success appearing in 1,213 races with 304 top-10 finishes, 99 top-five finishes, 10 pole positions and eight wins.

Jeff Burton had the most success behind the wheel of No. 31, participating in 324 races with 104 top-10 finishes, 43 top-five finishes and four wins from 2005-13. Robby Gordon won in No. 31 three times while Ryan Newman had one victory and Mike Skinner won five poles, the most by a driver of the number.
