The No. 55 has seen the most victories and races by any car on this list. The number has appeared in 1,109 races with 94 top-five finishes, 234 top-10 finishes, 20 pole positions and 13 wins. 

The No. 55 saw a plethora of success under Junior Johnson (five wins) and Tiny Lund (four wins) who accounted for nine of the car’s 13 wins historically. However, No. 55 never had more use on the track than when Michael Waltrip was behind the wheel. Waltrip drove the car for 130 races with three top-five finishes and nine top-10 finishes. Other notable drivers include Kenny Wallace (68 races), Bobby Hamilton (67 races), Benny Parsons (66 races), Brian Vickers (60 races) and Mark Martin (39 races).
