Lape is another two-sport athlete that excels on the gridiron and the diamond. He played wide receiver for the Panthers and helped the team to an 8-4 overall record. He can play multiple positions on the diamond but focuses on pitching and the shortstop position. From the mound, his fastball can reach 94 mph and his changeup has reached 80 mph.
