No. 72 (1950-2018)

Not only did Benny Parsons win the No. 72’s only Cup Series championship in 1973, but he also has 177 of the car’s 237 top-10 finishes. Parsons drove the car 287 times, placing top-five 125 times with 12 wins. Outside of Parsons, Bobby Johns also won in the No. 72 car as did Joe Weatherly in one of his three races. 

The car was most recently used in 2018 by Corey LaJoie for 23 races and Cole Whitt for 13 races that year.
