NASCAR Cup Series’ best by car number: 80-89
No. 81 (1950-2019)
The No. 81 has seen 301 starts, six top-five finishes, 38 top-10 finishes and just one win throughout its time on the track since 1950. Danny Graves, who had just seven races in the car, took the only win in the number back in 1957.
Kenny Wallace had nearly five times as many starts as his secondary (Harvey Hege) with 104 races, but only managed 11 top-10 finishes.
With 81 being the car number an @Kenny_Wallace throwback would look really good with the @iK9_Global logos all you would really have to do is change the red to blue pic.twitter.com/JSyqyk9Nem

Jeffrey Earnhardt, grandson of the legendary Dale Earnhardt, had his one and only start in the No. 81 in 2019. He was also the last to hit the track with the ride.
