Ranking the 2023 Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame finalists
SPRINGFIELD, Mass. (BVM) – This year’s crop of Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame finalists has an unprecedented 11 first-year eligible candidates out of 12 total. While becoming a first-ballot Hall of Famer in any sport is considered one of the rarest feats in athletics, for this 2023 class there are numerous players and coaches more than deserving of the honor.
With players such as Dirk Nowitzki, Dwyane Wade and Pau Gasol alongside coaches like Gregg Popovich and Gene Keady, the Class of 2023 is loaded with recognizable names and historic milestones.
