Top 10 Colorado high school baseball players in Class of 2023
9. Ashtin Gilio, 2B, Dawson School
It was very rare that Gilio stepped to the plate last year and didn’t get a hit. The second baseman for Dawson had a .711 batting average, a 2.420 OPS, 40 RBIs and 11 home runs. Once Gilio got on base, he wasn’t just going to stay there as he also had 19 stolen bases. On defense, the Georgetown commit had a fielding percentage of .931. Giliio was named to the CHSAA Class 2A all-state second team.
