Top 10 North Carolina HS baseball players in Class of 2023
3. Chase Meyer, RHP, Combine Academy
At 6-foot-2, 175 pounds, Meyer may be the hardest thrower in the state. He has hit 98 before, and already has a good slider to pair with it. He is committed to play at West Virginia, but if he flashes even more as a senior, he will have to make a decision on going to Morgantown or starting his professional career.
An extended look at Chase Meyer from tonight.
The @WVUBaseball commit showed why he can fly up boards this spring. Very loose arm with a simple and repeatable delivery. The ability to manipulate and spin the breaking ball really stood out.
