Taylor Lewan cut by Titans; 5 best fits for the left tackle
3. Indianapolis Colts
The Colts have been looking for a blindside blocker since longtime starter Anthony Castonzo announced his retirement after the 2020 season. Since then, Indianapolis used former Kansas City Chiefs tackle Eric Fisher for a season and most recently rookie third-round pick Bernhard Raimann.
Last season, the Colts surrendered 60 sacks, the second-most in the league. Lewan could slot in at left tackle unless Indianapolis prefers to keep their young player on the blindside and shift Lewan to the right side. For Lewan, he could join an AFC South rival with the opportunity to face his old team twice a year and also protect what many feel will be a high-end first-round pick under center.
Jeff Saturday might end up being the best coach in the NFL. What a speech!
