Highest scoring games of the 2022-23 NBA season
5. 59 points – Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers
The Utah Jazz’s impressive start to the 2022-23 campaign looked to have taken the 76ers by surprise back in November in what would be a tale of two halves. After trailing for much of the first half, Philadelphia would need all of Embiid’s 59 points, 11 rebounds and eight assists after closing out the Utah squad down the stretch. The 76ers big man would cap off the night with the team’s 13 final points and end 20-24 from the free throw line as Philadelphia ousted the Jazz, 105-98. His 59 points would set a career high, as well as tying his high in blocks with seven.
