Top 10 Maryland HS baseball players in Class of 2023

8. Jack Bussard, P, McDonogh

At 6-foot-5 and 220 pounds, Bussard is certainly noticeable on the diamond. The southpaw pitcher is ranked as the No. 18 player in Maryland by PBR and No. 13 by Perfect Game.

While stats of Bussard’s play are hard to come by, he played well enough to earn the attention of college scouts. On Nov. 9, national signing day, Bussard committed to Tulane University baseball after previously being committed to Clemson. Last season, the McDonogh Eagles finished 9-12 so Bussard will look to help his team improve for his senior campaign.
