Top 10 Ohio high school baseball players in Class of 2023

10. Michael Murphy, RHP, Mason

Throughout the past couple of seasons, Murphy has shown an ability to impact a game in multiple facets at Mason High School. On the mound, the 6-foot, 190-pound pitcher was tremendous in his junior season, boasting a 0.80 ERA as he gave up just 20 hits, five earned runs and no home runs across 43 innings of work, while also striking out 61 batters. At the plate, Murphy hit .365 with three home runs, 31 RBIs and 19 runs scored. While showcasing his two-way talent for the Cincinnati Spikes over the summer, Murphy also made his college commitment to Michigan. Before heading to Ann Arbor, he will look to lead Mason back to state in 2023.
