5 teams most likely to make NCAA Tournament for first time
(BVM) – Every March, college basketball fanbases from across the country and across the globe gather around their TVs and smart devices to follow their favorite programs take part in the NCAA Tournament. While many fans have enjoyed both the highs and lows that March Madness brings every year, others have been left on the outside looking in.
Of the 352 programs eligible to play in this year’s tournament, 36 of them have never made it into the field of 68. However, each season brings opportunities for these programs to make some history as shown over the past two seasons when Bryant and Longwood made the field for the first time a year ago and Grand Canyon and Hartford both made it for the first time back in 2021.
With that being said, here are the five programs that will most likely end their school’s long NCAA Tournament droughts.
