Top 10 Missouri high school baseball players in Class of 2023
7. Ty Wisdom, 2B, Liberty North
Alongside another top Class of 2023 prospect in Tate McGuire, Wisdom helped propel Liberty North to its first-ever state championship in 2022. The conference player of the year and a first-team all-state selection, Wisdom hit .398 with two home runs, 38 RBIs and 35 walks last season, and was also a big factor on the mound for the Eagles, going 7-0 with a 0.69 ERA and 34 strikeouts. He also earned four saves across 30.2 innings of work. The 2022 campaign wasn’t Wisdom’s first undefeated season on the mound, either, as he went 5-0 with a 0.56 ERA and 39 strikeouts as a sophomore. That year, he also hit .402 and smacked two home runs. The 6-foot, 190-pound member of the Kansas City Royals Scout Team will play for the Kansas Jayhawks following his Liberty North career.
