Top 10 South Carolina HS baseball players in Class of 2023
1. Alfonsin Rosario, OF, P27 Academy
The consensus top high school player in the state, Rosario ranks as the No. 184 draft prospect according to Prospects Live. The native of the Dominican Republic has all the physical tools to succeed at the highest level of baseball. He stands 6-foot-2, 215 pounds, and at just 18 years old, he already has a ton of power. But maybe the craziest physical feat for the Chipola College commit is that he was clocked throwing 101 mph from the outfield.
OF Alfonsin Rosario (SC, 2023) goes with this tailing Zander Meuth fastball and scorches it down the RF line for a triple. Rosario has also hit a line drive HR to LF on day 1, the only dinger at ECP to date. Chipola commit. pic.twitter.com/f2euhKg4zq
