Top 10 Canadian HS baseball players in Class of 2023
(BVM) – Spring is coming which means baseball is on the horizon for prospects across Canada. Major League Baseball scouts will continue to have their eyes on Mississauga native Myles Naylor, but that doesn’t mean he is the only name worth keeping an eye on this spring.
Whether the talent is in the Canadian Premier Baseball League, in a number of travel teams, or it’s Canadians who have traveled south to academies like P27, TNXL, or Pro5, there are Canadian prospects that deserve plenty of attention.
There were 15 Canadians taken in the 2022 MLB Draft, including nine players who spent time with the Canadian Junior National Team. That theme continues in this list with multiple players who have spent time representing Canada at the junior level.
