Coats is a part of the reigning KSHSAA Class 5A state champion Blue Valley Southwest baseball team that is looking to defend its title this season. Coats is an impressive two–way player that will play for Johnson County Community College next year. Until then, Coats will be a must watch every time the Timberwolves are playing.
