No. 5 Miami vs. No. 12 Drake 

The Hurricanes are led by junior guard and ACC Player of the Year Isaiah Wong. He averaged 16.2 points and 1.4 steals and helped the Hurricanes become ACC regular season champions. Jim Larranaga’s squad also averages 79.4 points (25th in the country), and if it can continue to be efficient on the offensive end, and should move on to the Round of 32.

The Bulldogs head into the Big Dance as a No. 12 seed and are led by Missouri Valley Conference Player of the Year Tucker DeVries. He averages 19 points and shoots 39% from behind the arc. The Bulldogs’ significant wins came against Mississippi State in December but also captured the Mississippi Valley Tournament championship and will aim to ride the momentum into the Sweet 16 for the first time since 1971.
