4. Keyonte George, G, Baylor

As part of a three-headed monster in the Bears’ backcourt, George has proven the spotlight is not too bright for him even as a freshman. The rookie immediately made his presence felt in the Big 12 Conference as he averaged 15.8 points, 4.2 rebounds and 2.8 assists in his first year in Waco.

His play was certainly recognized too as George was named the Big 12 Freshman of the Year and he earned second-team all-conference honors as well. While the tournament may bring even more eyes to his Bears unit, the youngster George has already proven he can more than handle the national stage.
