Top 10 Washington D.C. HS baseball players in Class of 2023
1. Bryson Moore, P, Gonzaga
The top player in the District and the final piece of the Gonzaga championship team to make this list, Moore was a standout for the Eagles last year. Moore, a 6-foot-3, 210-pound right-handed pitcher, is ranked as the No. 9 player in Virginia-DC by PBR and the No. 7 player in Virginia by PBR.
Last season, Moore helped Gonzaga to a state title thanks to his Washington Post All-Met honorable mention performance. Moore will take his talents to the next level when he joins in-state power University of Virginia. With a strong championship season a year ago and joined by a number of top players in Washington, Moore will look to once again lead his Eagles to a state title before heading to Charlottesville.
I am excited to announce that I have committed to the University of Virginia to continue my academic and baseball career. I would like to thank everyone who has helped me get here. #Wahoowa @drudown1414 @UVACoachOConnor @Kevin44McMullan pic.twitter.com/Awp3ZQAOGs
