5 college basketball coaches that could be on the move

(BVM) – While much of the buzz around college basketball continues to remain on the team’s competing in the NCAA Tournament, programs on the outside looking in are working on maneuvering their upcoming futures. So far, a handful of teams around the country are already ahead of the process by announcing recent hires, while others like St. John’s and Georgetown, are rumored to be close on impending coaching deals.

For many, the NCAA tournament is a great stepping stone for college basketball’s rising stars to show off their ability and culmination of hard work on the main stage. Last year’s Cinderella story in Saint Peter’s helped Peacocks head coach Shaheen Holloway land the head coaching job at his alma mater in Seton Hall.

This year’s tournament should provide the same kind of platform for coaches, as many have brought their names to the forefront. With some up-and-comers, and some already proven commodities, here’s the five names that could find themselves elsewhere during this year’s coaching cycle.
