LEXINGTON, Va. – A pair of Washington and Lee University women’s lacrosse players earned national recognition after the No. 2 Generals downed No. 4 Tufts on Saturday, 16-5. Juniors Caroline Kranich (State College, Pa. / Mercersburg) and Walker McKnight (Nashville, Tenn. / Harpeth Hall) claimed the Defensive and Co-offensive DIII Player of the Week Awards as announced by the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Association on Tuesday afternoon.
