Yelich is arguably the team’s most popular player, and he’s taken a different approach to preparing for the 2023 season. This method could help him return to MVP form after batting .235 over the last three seasons and hitting only 35 home runs in those seasons after hitting 44 in 2019. However, if he can remain healthy, Yelich has the capability to lead Milwaukee’s offensive charge and lead it back to the NLCS for the first time since 2018.
