EATONTON, Ga. – The Augusta University men’s golf team finished 16th at the Linger Longer Invitational. Played at the par-72, 7,436-yard Great Waters Golf Course, Augusta shot a 3-over 291 in Tuesday’s final round. Augusta improved 18 strokes on the final day to finish the event with a 909 (309-309-291). No. 20 Alabama won the event with a 14-under 850. The field featured seven ranked squads, including the top-ranked Vanderbilt team in third place. Hampus Wijkstrom was the top Jaguar in the tournament, tying for 37th with a 6-over 222 score.
