Close Match Slips Away Late Against Gardner-Webb

RADFORD, Va. – The Radford men’s tennis program came up just short in a close 4-3 final against Gardner-Webb Thursday afternoon despite somebody dominant wins in singles play on the top courts. Heading into singles down 1-0 the Highlanders put on a mighty comeback. On the top three courts Demis Taramonlis, Aditya Balsekar and Dinos Raptis were all fantastic. Taramonlis made quick work of his opponent with a 6-1, 6-1 win to tie the match at one-all. Raptis gave Radford the lead with a 6-4, 6-4 win on court three.
