Kerr Kriisa transferring; Top spots for Pac-12 assist leader

Xavier is the most obvious option for Kriisa. Musketeers head coach Sean Miller originally recruited Kriisa to Arizona and Miller’s firing was enough for Kriisa to at least consider leaving the Wildcats. Miller has also used the transfer portal before to get a point guard for Xavier. The Musketeers current starting point, Souley Boum, was a transfer from UTEP and has been a huge part of Xavier’s Sweet 16 run this season. Boum is a senior and will be gone after this season. Miller and Kriisa know each other and have a relationship. With Xavier fresh off a deep March Madness run, adding Kriisa would make them a favorite to be one of the top teams in the Big East and make another deep run in the NCAA Tournament.
