Joe Girard enters transfer portal; 5 possible landing spots

An in-state opportunity could remain at the very top of Girard’s wish list as he determines his future in the transfer portal. With new head coach Rick Pitino coming into the program, the Red Storm remain the most likely New York school to restructure their upcoming roster. Pitino hinted during his press conference that he would be looking to add new players and that “a lot of players probably won’t be back on this team.” Girard could fit the culture change that Pitino is hoping to institute and would give St. John’s another New York product.
