Baseball Battles Mizzou in 7-5 Loss
ST. CHARLES, Mo. –An outstanding offensive output was not enough for Lindenwood baseball (3-22) on Wednesday, as the Lions were defeated by Missouri (19-6) 7-5 at Lou Brock Sports Complex. Freshman Carson Subbert was a bright spot out of the bullpen, going 1.2 shutout innings without allowing a hit, walking one and striking out three. Senior Joe Copeland led the way offensively for the Lions, going 2-for-4 in the ballgame with a double, a walk and two RBI.
