Ismael Massoud enters transfer portal; 5 possible landing spots

MANHATTAN, Kan. (BVM) – One of March Madness’ biggest heroes will be looking for a new home for the upcoming season following Kansas State senior Ismael Massoud’s announcement that he will be entering his name into the transfer portal.
The 6-foot-9 forward provided the Wildcats the perfect spark to a special NCAA Tournament run that ended at the hands of FAU in the Elite Eight. Massoud specifically came up big during the team’s Sweet 16 matchup against Michigan State where he finished with 15 points, while going 4-for-6 from the 3-point line.

After spending his opening two seasons at Wake Forest, Massoud ends his Kansas State career averaging 6.1 points and 2.2 rebounds. Originally recruited to the program by Bruce Weber, Massoud helped the Wildcats back to relevance in 2023 under new head coach Jerome Tang.
