Camels sweep weekly Big South honors
BUIES CREEK, N.C. – After Campbell produced its best 18- (277), 36- (563) and 54-hole (852) scores of the season, Fighting Camels sweep the weekly Big South Conference men’s golf honors. Edwin Blomander was named golfer of the week, while Tim Holmberg earned freshman recognition for the second-straight week. At the Seahawk Intercollegiate, the Camels finished sixth in the 17-team field, in front of three power-5 conference members (No. 44 Clemson, Nebraska and Maryland) on the par-72 Pete Dye designed CC of Landfall Dye course.
