Elliott Irwin of the Lindenwood men’s swimming and diving program continues to stockpile on the accolades after an outstanding junior campaign. It was announced Thursday that Irwin was tabbed Summit League Men’s Swimmer of the Year as voted on by head coaches across the league. During the teams inaugural Division I season, the Canberra, Australia native broke the 100-butterfly championship record (45.85) with a first-place finish, which also ranks as the fastest overall time in League history.
