Ranking each Final Four team by its high school talent
HOUSTON (BVM) – The Final Four of March Madness 2023 features some more unexpected teams – with FAU, San Diego State, UConn and Miami being the men’s college basketball programs that will face off for a chance at the championship title game.
Since this year’s NCAA Tournament was truly madness, check out the high school rankings of the top players from each Final Four team. Many of the top players in the Final Four had zero stars and weren’t nationally ranked by 247 Sports back as high schoolers. Sometimes, determination and grit can outweigh even the five-star prospects and top-ranked players in the nation.
Note that this list determines the top athletes by selecting the seven players who are averaging the most minutes across 30 or more games (includes the top five scorers).
