Kings Point, NY – The City College of New York men’s track & field team earned a second-place finish on Sunday afternoon at the Coach Omeltchenko Invitational, hosted by the U.S. Merchant Marine Academy (USMMA). Junior Habibu Gado led the Beavers with seven top-five finishes. Gado’s top finish came in the 400m hurdles, winning the event in a time of 1:03.12. He turned in second-place finishes in the 100m (11.45), 200m (22.99), and 400m (50.04).
