7. Tony Finau

Finau has been waiting for his first major championship for some time, and if it’s finally going to happen, winning a green jacket at Augusta National would seem to be as good of a bet as any. In his first five Masters starts, the 33-year-old has three top 10s, highlighted by a top-five finish in 2019. Although he finished just tied for 35th last year, it is clear Finau knows how to play Augusta National. Finau also has top-five finishes in each of the other three majors, so there’s no doubt he can contend, but now it’s about finishing the job. He has finished in the top 25 of every tournament he has played in so far in 2023, and is playing as consistently as almost anyone in the field at the moment. If that continues and things break right, Finau just might have what it takes to win the green jacket this weekend.
