Aneesah Morrow enters transfer portal; 5 possible landing spots

CHICAGO (BVM) – Aneesah Morrow has entered the transfer portal after two All-Big East first-team seasons at DePaul.

The star forward was the best freshman in women’s college basketball during the 2021-22 season when she averaged 21.9 points on 51.9% shooting and a national-best 13.9 rebounds as a second-team All-American. Morrow continued her dominance as a sophomore, averaging a career-high 25.7 points (No. 4 in the nation) to go along with 12.2 rebounds (No. 7).

A Chicago native, the 6-foot-1 Morrow led her hometown Blue Demons to a First Four bid in the 2022 NCAA Tournament (they lost to Dayton) before DePaul (16-17) lost in the quarterfinals of the Big East Tournament this past season.

Morrow is undoubtedly one of the top talents in women’s college basketball and every program should have her on its radar. With that in mind, here are five possible landing spots for the walking double-double.
