Vikings Split With Panthers
Elizabeth City, N.C. – The ECSU Vikings softball team split the day versus Virginia Union University, on Thursday afternoon, in a doubleheader at South Park Sports Complex. Game 1- In the first game, the Vikings fell to the Panthers of Virginia Union and moved their season record to (5-12). The Panthers of Virginia Union scored on good hitting from Kamryn Walker and Lianna Gonzalez who homered twice. The Vikings found life in the bottom of the sixth inning when Karrigan Belangia singled to left field, bringing home Jamia Guilford and Stephanie Komives. The Vikings scored five runs on four hits.…
