Pistons’ Dwane Casey to move from head coach to front office

Dwane Casey announced Sunday that he will be transitioning from the Detroit Pistons head coaching position to the front office. “(Owner) Tom (Gores) is giving me an opportunity to move into the front office. I’m excited to go to the next phase of my life,” Casey said. “Time to spend more time with my family. This team is on the right track. They probably need to hear a new voice.
