Women’s Golf Puts up Good Fight in Ryder-Style Battle for the Oar

CANAL WINCHESTER, Ohio – The Capital University women’s golf team hit the links on Monday for a head-to-head matchup with rivals Otterbein at West Chester Golf Club. The second edition of the Battle for the Oar – played with a scoring style similar to that of the Ryder Cup – would go in favor of the Cardinals, 4-0. Hannah Frey and Mariah Cotsamire both lost their head-to-head matchups by four with three holes remaining.
