Branch Earns Second Conference Weekly Award

ATLANTA, Ga. – Larry Branch of the Berea College men’s track and field team was named Collegiate Conference of the South Men’s Track and Field Field Athlete of the Week, conference officials announced on Tuesday. In the Landon Bond Classic on Saturday, the junior posted his outdoor PR in the long jump with 6.53 meters, taking second place in the event. Branch’s mark puts him at number one in the CCS in the long jump. This is Branch’s second weekly honor of the season and of his career.
