Cincinnati Bengals mock draft 2023: Pick-by-pick predictions
No. 28, Round 1: Darnell Wright, OT, Tennessee
The Bengals addressed their suspect offensive line in free agency by signing four-time Pro Bowl left tackle Orlando Brown Jr. However, by doing this, they bumped former starting left tackle Jonah Williams to the right side and he has since requested a trade.
While Williams is still on the roster, the Bengals will make him expendable by drafting Wright. The 6-foot-5, 333-pound Wright is seen as the best right tackle in the draft and if he lives up to that billing, he would be an immediate upgrade to an offensive line that surrendered 44 sacks last season.
