Denver Broncos mock draft 2023: Pick-by-pick predictions
DENVER (BVM) – The Denver Broncos came into the 2022 season with high aspirations. After trading for nine-time Pro Bowl quarterback Russell Wilson, it seemed Denver finally had what it needed to get back to the playoffs for the first time since its Super Bowl championship season in 2015.
However, anything that could go wrong did. The defense was solid for the most part, but the Broncos’ offense struggled mightily in Nathaniel Hackett’s first season, with Wilson’s subpar play at the forefront.
After Hackett was fired towards the end of the 2022 season, the Broncos were in need of a head coach, and are ushering in a new, and likely brighter era, under Super Bowl-winning coach Sean Payton. Now, the team will need some additional talent to add to the mix.
Although the Broncos have just five selections in the 2023 NFL Draft – in large part thanks to the Wilson trade – they still have an opportunity to find some key contributors for the upcoming season. Here’s a look at who the Broncos could take with those five picks.
