Nahiem Alleyne enters transfer portal; 5 best landing spots

Another program that recruited Alleyne out of high school was Hofstra. Unlike at St. John’s, the coach at Hofstra was actually on the staff when the team offered Alleyne as head coach Speedy Claxton was an assistant at the time.

Now, Claxton finds himself in need of guard help as team leader Aaron Estrada is in the transfer portal and starters Nelson Boachie-Yiadom and Tyler Thomas are set to graduate. This would make a reconnection with Alleyne an appealing one as he would immediately come in and help a team with multiple younger guards who could learn under his tutelage.
