Patriots mock draft 2023: Pick-by-pick predictions

No. 184, Round 6 (from LV): Davis Allen, TE, Clemson

The Patriots did bring in Mike Gesicki this offseason as a Jonnu Smith replacement, but only on a one-year deal. Hunter Henry is also in the last year of his contract. New England needs to add some insurance to the position heading into 2024. Allen could be a good selection this late in the draft. As a senior last year, Allen made the All-ACC third team.
