Athletic Department Inducts inaugural Chi Alpha Sigma Class
ROCHESTER, N.Y. – The RIT Intercollegiate Athletics Department inducted its first class of student-athletes into the Chi Alpha Sigma Honor Society, Thursday night, in a ceremony held in the Skalny Room. Establish the Alpha Rho chapter last year, Chi Alpha Sigma is the only national scholar-athlete society that celebrates four-year collegiate student-athletes who have excelled in both the classroom and in athletic competition. Founded in 1996 and with 320 active chapters nationwide, Chi Alpha Sigma membership is an honor bestowed upon select student-athletes based on outstanding scholarship, athletic participation and excellent character/citizenship.
