Bear Alexander enters transfer portal; 5 landing spots for DT
3. USC
Another reputable program that made a strong push for Alexander during his original recruitment out of high school was USC. The Trojans were also one of the few programs Alexander made an official visit to, showing his interest in the program.

During this speculating season, many internet sleuths are already trying to connect the dots of Alexander to the Trojans. This is because Alexander’s guardian, Tony Jones, was at the USC spring game on Saturday, according to his own Instagram.

However, USC fans shouldn’t get too excited about Jones’ appearance. Jones is a well-known recruiting coordinator and cornerbacks coach so while he is the guardian for Alexander, he has many other young athletes he helps and supports. That is the true reason he was at the spring game as one of his other athletes took a visit to the contest.

Regardless, there is still an interest there between Alexander and the Trojans. With Heisman Trophy winner Caleb Williams coming back under center and USC coming off of an 11-3 season, the Trojans should be an appealing option for the defensive tackle.
